Born and bred in England. Came to S.Africa on holiday and married here. Have two adult children who both live in England. Five grandchildren three live in England, although one has just been transferred to Australia for her firm. The other two grandchildren are at S.African universities and visit their parents at holiday time. Although married to a S.African I have not assumed S.African nationality. Anyone who wishes to know more about SA is welcome to write to me.

The computer swallowed grandma.
Yes, honestly its true!
She pressed 'control' and 'enter'
And disappeared from view.
It devoured her completely,
The thought just makes me squirm.
She must have caught a virus
Or been eaten by a worm.
I've searched through the recycle bin And files of every kind; I've
even used the Internet, But nothing did I find.
In desperation, I asked Google
My searches to refine.
The reply from him was negative,
Not a thing was found 'online.'
So, if inside your 'Inbox,'
My Grandma you should see,
Please 'Copy,''Scan' and 'Paste' her
And send her back to me.
This is a tribute to all the Grandmas who have been fearless and learned to
use the Computer........
They are the greatest!!!

ReAbout usIn the article about us describing to whom this site is directed baby boomers parents and so on are mentioned I see that the implication seems to be that one has to profess the Christian faith This would seem to me to be discriminatory and divisive or have I got it wrong

I love the baby tiger you are holding there. That is totally awesome. I knew someone from afica a long time ago who is now living here in florida. I donot know a whole lot about it, I just know he did not claim that status either. Did you take care of these babies while you were there? Take care,Cheryl |

Hi Jeber,I have been on here for over a year, I try to visit as much as I can but work most of the time. You donot have to profess christian faith as far as I know. Maybe they were talking about the family that runs this site being of christian faith, I have plenty of faith in the bible and god but donot go to church. I work a rotating shift and can do a month of sundays . So please donot feel put off. If there are any questions post a comment in the blog you read this in. Have a good evening,Cheryl |
